On a hit you suffer half the regular fall damage for that height.

If you land a critical hit you suffer no fall damage from the attack, however the additional damage of the plunging attack is not multiplied.

After the attack you will land on an square that is declared before the attack. If you miss the attack you suffer the regular fall damage for that height. You make a DC 15 dexterity save or land on the declared square prone.
